Error 6144, 0:
The .ND file has an incorrect path to your company file or QuickBooks Database Manager is using a damaged Windows user account.

Error 6120, 0:
This error might mean that the firewall port 8019 is blocked or one of the work stations is hosting the company file.

Error 6087, 0
Error 6131, 0:
This is due to the opening of the file locally

Resolutions

-Downloading a separate utility tool called QuickBooks File Doctor to repair files can be very helpful. It will help to remove many errors too.

-Try configuring one system to store the company file if QuickBooks installation was done on more than one system.

-Edit the host file with the name of Windows server and IP address on the system where company file was stored
If the User is Opening the File Locally

-This means you are opening a file that is saved on the same PC where QuickBooks is installed. These are the solutions in this case:

Resolution 1: Renaming the .ND and .TLG files

Resolution 2: Opening a sample company file

Resolution 3: Copying the QuickBooks file on the Desktop

If you are opening the file over the network. This means that you are opening the company file saved on the server or another computer.

Resolution 2: Rename the .ND and .TLG files. Restart or re-scan the Database Server Manager.

Resolution 3: Try opening a sample company file which is locally installed on a workstation.

Resolution 4: The company file has to be opened locally.

Resolution 5: The folder permissions have to be checked manually.
