- Open the Configuration File for the installed Version of Sage 50

- Close Sage 50 and Disable the User Account Control
- Disable the Antivirus on the Computer
- Press Windows +R
- Type the Regedit
- Choose OK

- Choose the Folder For the Installed Sage Version

- All Computers should figure out the same data path

- For the 2019 version and above go to C:\ProgramData\Sage\Peachtree
- Open the Configured File for the installation of Sage

- Version 2017 – Peachtree240.ini

- At the start of the DATAPATH line = insert a semicolon (;)
- A New Line must be inserted after the (;) DATAPATH = line
- The LOCAL DATAPATH = line has to be copied
- Paste it into a new line and then remove the word LOCAL
- Select File and Save
- Run the Update from the Update Folder in the original Data Path
- When the Installation is completed, Remove the New DATAPATH = line from the configuration file
- The Semicolon has to be removed from the Original DATAPATH = line
- Choose File and Save then Close the Notepad
