  8. Right-click on the .QBW.adr file, and click on Copy.
  9. Paste the file you copied in the previous step in the QBTest folder.
  10. Right-click on the .adr file, then choose Rename and remove the ADR extension from the end.
  11. Launch QuickBooks desktop on your system.
  12. Launch the company file saved in the QBTest folder.
  13. Enter the login credentials for the company file.
  14. Go to Utilities, then Verify Data.
  15. Once data is verified, you can copy the recovered company file from the QBTest folder to the main company file folder.
