Solution 1: Delete Sage Files

• Start your PC.
• Open the Program Directory on your system.
• Remove all trash files from your Program Directory.
• Close Sage 50 accounting.
• Open my computer or This PC on your system.
• From here you will have to browse to your current Sage 50 program folder. For instance open C:\Sage 50 and open all the modules folder which will display the error for you, like: ac for accountant, or py for payroll.
• Sort the file name column and search for a file that begins with VF0…VF1…..and so on with a file type of .dac or .pgb.
• Delete all those files.
• Restart your system to check whether you still receive the error message or not.

Solution 2: Delete Trash Files

• Delete all the trash files from your data directory.
