To solve Sage Decline codes 000006 and 0008 navigate to the control panel & uninstall SQLCONNECTOR/ODBC 3.51.

Solution One

• To uninstall MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, go to Start, then Control Panel, and select Programs and Features.
• If there are issues with uninstalling or reinstalling the 3.51.28 MySQL ODBC Connector, try installing the 3.51.19 MySQL ODBC Connector as an alternative.
• The 3.51.19 MySQL ODBC Connector can be found at: C:\Sage\Sage Simply Accounting 2012 Installer Files – CDN\Bin\MySQLODBC.
• To uninstall MySQL Connector/ODBC 5.2(a), follow the same process as above.
• To install mysql-connector-odbc-commercial-3.51.28-win32.msi, navigate to: C:\Sage\Sage 50 Accounting 2013 Installer Files\Bin\MySQLODBC\
• To install mysql-connector-odbc-commercial-5.2.4-ansi-win32.msi, go to: C:\Sage\Sage 50 Accounting Installer Files – CDN Release 2014.1\Bin\MySQLODBC\
• Once you have completed the installation or uninstallation process, restart your computer before attempting to open Sage 50.

Solution Two

• For Windows Vista or higher
• Select Windows Start button>Control Panel>Network Sharing Center.
• Select on change adapter settings on the top left hand.
• Go to the network connection and click on Properties.
• Please uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/iPv6) box.
• Select Ok and reboot their system.

A. Windows XP

• Select the Start Button and click on Control Panel then click on Network Connection.
• Select their network connection and click on Properties.
• Uncheck on internet protocol versions (TCP/iPV6)
• Select on Ok.
• Reboot their computer

B. Disable IPV6 in the registry

• Select on Window Start menu. Write here regedit, and then hold the Enter button.
• Select on Windows Start menu, then click on Run and write regedit then select Ok.
• Before performing this task create a new file with backup.
• Click on Edit, New, and click on dword (32-bit) Value.
• Hold onto disabled components. Enter Off (Number Zero, letter f, and letter f and click on Ok.
