- Type Windows Firewall with Advanced Security of your computer
- Click on Inbound Rules
- Click on New Rule on the left navigation panel
- Mark the radio button against Program and hit next
- Select ‘This Program Path’ and browse to the QuickBooks executable (.exe) file. Hit next
- Select ‘Allow the Connection.’ Click on next.
- Mark all the options in the next window
- Type in the name for the rule along with a description
